Do you take walk-ins?

Yes! We do take walk-ins, however, it is recommended to call ahead and see if any artists are available. Walk-ins are typically pieces that are less than 3 inches and aren't super intricate as bigger, more complicated pieces require more forethought and time to prepare the design. However, if an artist has time, they may be able to accommodate your request for a more detailed piece. 

How do I book an appointment?

Under the section titled "Meet the Artists," you can click the booking link under the artist of your choice. If you have no preference between the artists, you can fill out the no preference booking form. Or, you can look through each of the artists' galleries to see who might fit your ideas best. Please read the full terms and conditions prior to booking your appointment.

Do you have a shop minimum?

Yes. Our shop minimum is $125.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Make sure you stay hydrated and eat before your appointment. It is also important to exfoliate and moisturize the skin. Try not to drink heavily the night before or take ibuprofen the morning of as they can lead to more bleeding during your appointment.

Can I see my design prior to my appointment?

We typically don't send out designs ahead of time. However, if you are getting a larger piece done, check with your artist, as they may be willing to go over it with you ahead of time. We also do not do day of large adjustments to a piece. When you come in, there will be time to make small adjustments to the piece your artist drew, however, making large adjustments and reworking the design will have to result in booking an appointment at a different time.

What is your cancellation policy?

If your appointment required a deposit, let us know at least 48 hours ahead of time or you will lose your deposit. You can reschedule one time without losing your deposit. Even if your appointment didn't require a deposit, please let us know as soon as possible.

Do you take deposits?

Deposits may be required for your appointment. We typically take deposits for larger pieces, but deposits are required on an individual artist's basis. The deposit is used to reserve your appointment time and cover a drawing fee for the artist. Deposits do not go toward the final price of the piece. If your piece requires a deposit and it is not received within 48 hours of your appointment time, the time slot is not reserved and can be given to another client.

If I am under 18, can I get a tattoo with parental permission?

No, in the state of Maine, you have to be 18 to get a tattoo. Regardless of age, please also make sure to bring your ID with you to your appointment.

What do I do after submitting a booking form or emailing?

We will go over your request and do our best to get back to you within 7-10 days. If it has been at least two weeks with no response, please give us a call.

Can I do a consult before booking an appointment?

Yes! Please send us an email or give us a call about coming in for a consult. We would love to go over your ideas with you if you are feeling like you want to take about it in person ahead of time. We can get you in the schedule before you leave?

What are your hours?

We are open Tuesday - Friday 10am - 6pm and Saturday 10am - 5pm *Our hours may vary so please call ahead to make sure someone is here and has availability.

What types of Payment do you take?

We take card, cash, or Venmo.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes, we do! Stop by the studio to get one!

Do you respond to Instagram DMs, Facebook messages, or TikTok messages?

We do not book through social media. Please book through the links under the "Meet the Artists" tab.

Do you do touch ups?

Your artist will do free touch ups on any pieces that they did for you except for hands, feet, and behind the ear. Those areas can be touched up for a reduced charge.

Do you do cover-ups?

We do, but we require a consultation before booking an appointment.
